Have you ever needed to hold a small piece in place, but either didn’t have a clamp small enough to hold it or it was just too awkward of a position to clamp at all? Next time you have to hold small pieces in place so you can sand, cut, or finish them, try using hot glue. You can use just a little hot glue to hold a piece down to your work bench, freeing your hands and allowing you access to the entire piece. When you’re done, just use a small putty knife to gently pry the piece up.
