If you’re anything like me, after using your drill press chuck key you place it down on whatever flat (or semi-flat) surface is nearby. I can’t tell you how many hours of my life I’ve spent looking for the chuck key that I just had in my hand a few minutes ago. That is until I learned this great trick. Simply use some epoxy to permanently attach a small rare earth magnet to the rear of the drill press chuck key. Now I can easily find my chuck key attached to right next to the on/off switch whenever I need it.
