Since each of these wine racks are custom made per order, they can include any stain color from natural to light to gray to dark, along with any finish you choose.  The sample in the picture has a dark Provincial stain and no finish.

These pallet wood wine racks are definitely something most DIYers, even beginning DIYers, could do themselves.  The routing on the wine glass holder can be tricky for a beginner with limited tools and experience, but there are several alternatives to using a router that I plan on detailing in an upcoming DIY instructional post.  Or if you are not confident in your capabilities you can always put to skip the wine glass holder portion and still have a great looking reclaimed pallet wood wine rack.
