I love the fall of the year. The days are a little cooler and the nights and mornings are brisk. It’s a great time to sit around the fire pit and roast s’mores or just enjoy some time outside.

Sitting by the fire is even better in these custom fire pit chairs I built based on our 2×6 deck chair plans. Although instead of using all 2×6 boards, I started with some reclaimed 2×12 boards that I freecycled. These are just two of the three new fire pit chairs I built last weekend. The third is awaiting a similar coat of exterior paint before it gets moved outside.
