Felt bunnies on burlap triangles banner

This is a simple banner to make with some twine, burlap cut into triangles, and then bunnies you can cut out of felt.  Just cut all of your pieces, and hot glue together.

This banner is another simple one to make – if you have the patience to cut the bunnies by hand that is.   Of course, if you have a die cutter, then cutting out the bunnies is no problem at all.  Just glue them all to the twine, add some cotton balls for tails, and your done!

Paint swatch Easter eggs banner

This has to be the simplest of all of the DIY Easter decorations in this list – and it’s probably the cheapest too.  Here we tore a piece of fabric from an old sheet for the ribbon, and then picked up some pastel paint swatches from our local home improvement store.  Cut the swatches into an egg shape, poke two holes to weave the ribbon through, and you’ve got a cute banner!    Some might say it’s cheesy, but I do still like it for it’s simplistic appeal.

Hello Easter wood sign and Easter pastel string eggs.

Here are two more DIY Easter decorations we love.  A simple piece of 2×4 cut to about 12″ in length, painted white with a hand painted “hello Easter” phrase in gold and pastel colors.  The “eggs” are pastel string which was dipped in a glue solution, wrapped around balloons.  After the glue solution dries, simply pop the balloons and pull them out.
