Here is a Christian Cross barn door I built based on our Double X barn door plans. The door is constructed with a frame of 1×6 pine boards with cross lap joinery, with beadboard planks behind the 1×3 Xs.

The materials cost about $180, and it took about a day to build and sand this double X barn door.

The paint is Sherwin Williams kem aqua, which I sprayed on.
